It is understood that the Jiangmen Students' Association (Jiangmen Sea Turtles Association) was established in November 2014. It is the first non-profit sea turtles organization registered with the Civil Affairs department in Wuyi, Jiangmen, now has a membership of nearly 400 people, the average age of 32 years old, master, doctor and other high-educated personnel accounted for more than 50% . Since its inception, the fraternity has made good use of its role as a bridge between China and the rest of the world by building a brand called “Jiangmen for Bay Area returnees”, to organize a variety of activities such as“Famous Industrial Enterprises, Campus Tour and study tour”, and to create“Study abroad and return home” activity center and sea innovation space, etc. , to promote exchanges and interaction between returned overseas students in Jiangmen and high-level talents from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas, as well as elites from various industries and well-known entrepreneurs in Jiangmen, we have built a platform for overseas returnees to contact and develop with local entrepreneurs. Feng Ting, who was elected the third president of the Council, studied in the Canadian University of Western Ontario of Western Ontario and started his business in Jiangmen in 2010, he was awarded the “Star-level contact 2023 for innovation and entrepreneurship programs for returned overseas students in Jiangmen” to demonstrate the driving effect of returned overseas students and achieve the goal of “Guiding talents with talents.”. In addition, Feng Ting also served as the Jiangmen high-tech Zone (Jianghai District) talent courier station for returned students.

Feng Ting said he will lead more young entrepreneurs from the Overseas Chinese community to participate in the high-quality development of Jiangmen. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Feng Ting said that in the future, Jiangmen would rely on its geographical advantages as an important city in the guangdong-hong Kong-macao Bay Area, highlighting the guangdong-hong Kong-macao Bay Area talent introduction scheme, the Overseas Chinese Youth Entrepreneurship Project in overseas Chinese hometown, organizing members to carry out charity support for rural revitalization, promoting overseas Chinese talents, information sharing among overseas Chinese returnees members, and supporting new overseas Chinese youth enterprises to create innovative brands, to lead the vast number of overseas Chinese young entrepreneurs to participate in the economic construction of the hometown of Overseas Chinese. Li Huiwen said that talents are the first resource to support the development of the city, and returned students are the leading talents and backbone forces in all walks of life, to do a good job in the new era and new journey of the work of the fraternity of foreign students with great responsibility and glorious mission. He expressed the hope that Jiangmen students studying abroad will inherit and carry forward patriotism and the glorious tradition of serving the country by studying abroad, and further bring into play the advantages of the talent pool, the think tank of advice and suggestions, and the new force of non-governmental diplomacy, to make full use of Jiangmen's abundant resources and beneficial policy services to promote the innovative development of its members, “I hope that the majority of overseas students who have returned home will make a contribution to Jiangmen, focus on service development and actively participate in high-quality development.”
